Alpaca scarves, alpaca hats and alpaca gloves all produced using 100% British Alpaca hand knit in Cumbria.
Cumbrian based alpaca breeders, Barbara and Paul Hetherington began their venture in to alpacas in 2008, and have gone on to produce a prize winning herd, including the multiple supreme champion male Beck Brow Explorer. With a breeding programme that contains an impressive selection of different genetics, and colours, we usually have alpacas for sale to meet most requirements. We offer elite stud services, and have a selection of stud males available ranging from white through to black. We strongly believe in only using males with proven genetics and those with the most desirable traits. It is our aim to not only breed alpacas that have real fineness and density, but also to have alpacas that are friendly and well handled. The core herd at Beck Brow Alpacas of Cumbria has been carefully selected to include some of the best genetics available from Peru, Australia and New Zealand. These include: Jolimont Conquistador, Jolimont Sculptor, NWA Ruffo and Silverstream Czar to name but a few. Barbara, formally a nursing sister within critical care, now works full time on the farm to ensure that the welfare of these endearing animals is given top priority. We pride ourselves on providing support to new breeders which includes hands on training if required. Our 50 acre farm is situated between junctions 41 and 42 of the M6, conveniently situated for those travelling from Scotland and the North of England. Why not give us a call and arrange a visit.
